KASDA Jumla has been implementing many projects in 30 VDCs of Jumla district and main goal  of KASDA Jumla is to eliminate the poverty by supporting in different sectors like production increment, marketing and community involvement in many production related sub project. High Value Agriculture Project in Hills and Mountain (HVAP), Jumla Livelihood project, SIDPOR and LGCDP are the major project with different project goal.

 HVAP is one of the agriculture based projects implemented by KASDA in Jumla district. Project goal is: The overall goal of the project is the reduction of poverty and vulnerability of women and men in hill and mountain areas of the Mid and Far Western Development Region of the country.

The project purpose is to integrate the rural poor, especially women and marginal groups in high value agriculture and Non-Timber Forestry Products (NTFPs)/Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) value chains and markets, and improve income, employment opportunities and ability to respond to market demand and opportunities based on marketing agreements with private agribusiness.

When KASDA/HVAP have started to support the groups/Cooperatives in fresh Apple farming , goat rising and Vegetable seed production then onwards the income of members of groups/Coops is increased and even they have new energy/power to do something better in future.

KASDA/High Value Agriculture Project not only support in production but also organized different trainings, orientation, workshop and interaction among line agencies.
